This Claude Beelman art-deco masterpiece was originally constructed in 1930 as headquarters for the Eastern Columbia Outfitting Company. Extraordinarily detailed, the structure is clad in stunning turquoise terra cotta and gold leaf. This zig zag moderne landmark was inaugurated into the Los Angeles list of Historical and Cultural Monuments in 1985. Abundant in rich tradition, the building's lineage of clients has historically been a showplace for fashion and furnishings.
The newly restored building accommodates 147 Live/work loft units that are dressed with premium modern appointments and elegantly combined with timeless period details of the early 20th century. On the rooftop, situated directly underneath the famous clock tower, sits the renowned leisure terrace which showcases a magnificent sky deck with swimming pool, spa, lounging cabanas, outdoor fireplace as well as a fully equipped fitness studio that offers views of the vibrant city that pulsates beneath. The grand lobby entrance greets residents and guests with sophistication and opulence in signature Eastern Columbia tradition.
A truly unique and distinguished project, Eastern Columbia residents stand to inherit that storied architectural and cultural legacy within their lofts and throughout the tower's common areas.
